Imagine a world where the body is the brush, movement is the language, and dance is the way.
A space where for three days everyone is invited to move their body and fly, express themselves, communicate, listen, create, celebrate, explore, learn, and dance!
You are welcome to experience the utopian world we create at the body festival!
Here you can dance non-stop and experiment with a wide variety of methods, approaches and techniques through your body, with the leading teachers in Israel.
Over 4 years we have had 5 festivals of Bodyfest all in Mitzpe Ramon. We regretted that the place was closed due to the Corona Virus. It took us two years to find the right time and and place to come back with something new and special.
We are very excited to start the Bodyfest – the 6th body festival! This time in its urban version, in front of the sea in Tel Aviv-Yafo.
In this evolved version of the festival: we have created a high-quality, intimate urban festival intended for only 500 people, a laboratory, an incubator in motion, a unique gathering of dance and movement. A world of dance, for two days in a high-quality center, with 6 excellent, modern and well-equipped halls designed for movement.
During the day you can participate in workshops and classes lead by the best teachers in Israel. In the evenings we gather for dance performances, free and ecstatic dance parties, contact jams and other spontaneous events.
Let’s get lost in dance!
A Couple of Practical Points:
The festival gates will open every morning at 10:00am.
Lessons will start at 11:00am.
We will be at the festival all day until 23:00pm.
–
The renewed and renovated Jewish-Arab Community Center in Jaffa is located at 109 Kedem St., Tel Aviv-Jaffa. Adjacent to it is a free parking lot overlooking the sea and the green slope park of Jaffa.
–
There is no accommodation on site. This time you will have to sleep at home or find accommodation in the center or at friends. In the future there will be a Facebook post for hitchhikers, carpool and transportation.
–
Bring comfortable clothes to dance in, a change of clothes, a personal water bottle, and everything you need to wrap yourself well and keep warm. It is recommended to bring a swimsuit because the center is right next to the sea.
–
Vegetarian and vegan food will be served throughout the entire festival, in our beautiful courtyard, there will also be smoothies, chai, coffee and tea, etc.
–
An updated schedule and the final list of facilitators will be published a month before the festival.
Around 24 teachers will participate in the festival. Leading instructors from Israel and all over the world.
