Floor Work and Répertoire
My Class is based on a structured class, safely warming up the dancers bodies and minds, then moving to traveling exercises and phrase work, while helping the dancers reach full self-expression. Information is given with detail while sustaining the flow of the class. Within the spaces of my own teaching structure, I leave room for the element of chance and surprise. While I believe it’s important to set specific goals for my classes, I believe these goals can change once I encounter the dancers. Emphasising this flexibility to adapt to the environment and participants in the room is key for honest and natural growth.
